Ingredients
- ½ Cup of Raisins
- 3 tablespoon of Cornstarch
- ½ Cup of Sugar
- 2 Cups of Milk
- A Dash of Salt
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
- 2 Cups Cooked Rice
- A Dash of Nutmeg

Method
- Place the raisins in a small bowl and cover with boiling water. Let stand for 30 minutes, then drain
- Combine the cornstarch and the sugar and gradually stir in the milk, vanilla and salt
- Heat the mixture on the stove, over medium heat, stirring regularly, until thickened
- Beat the egg yolks in a small bowl. Whisk a small amount of the milk mixture into the beaten yolks, then whisk the yolks back into the milk
- Continue cooking for about 2 minutes
- Add the cooked rice and raisins
- Serve warm or chilled with a sprinkle of nutmeg
